Long-term cancer survivors are vulnerable to late effects of cancer

Scientists are suggesting that long-term cancer survivors are vulnerable to the late effects of cancer.

According to a recent study published in the journal Cancer Nursing, "Research indicates that cancer-related health problems persist for decades among survivors. The combination of late effects of cancer or its treatment and age-related health problems may add to the vulnerability of older survivors."
