Design flaws may have been source of adverse conclusions in Women's Health Initiative study

Design flaws have been proposed as the reason for the adverse conclusions that were drawn from the Women's Health Initiative study. Scientists at the University of Massachusetts conducted a review that "critiques the Women's Health Initiative (WHI) study, focusing on aspects of the study design contributing to the adverse events resulting in the study's discontinuation."
