A low rate of non-fecal occult blood test for colorectal cancer was observed in women attending screening mammography. Investigators in the United States, reported, "Nationally representative surveys demonstrate that the adherence to screening mammography guidelines are associated with increased prevalence of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening; however, the incidence of CRC screening in the screening mammography population is unknown.
