Treatment with budesonide does not affect pregnancy outcome

Treatment of pregnant women with low-dose budesonide does not affect the outcome of pregnancy. According to recent research published in the Annals of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, "Budesonide is the only inhaled corticosteroid to be given a category B pregnancy rating by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, based on observational data from the Swedish Medical Birth Registry.
