Alliance publishes international breast health guidelines for developing countries

Specific recommendations for improving breast healthcare and cancer treatment in countries with limited resources have been published by the Breast Health Global Initiative (BHGI), an international coalition of doctors, scientists, policymakers, and advocates led by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. "The Guidelines for International Breast Health and Cancer Control" are published as a 122-page supplement in the January-February 2006 issue of The Breast Journal.
