U.S. FDA approves new device for hemorrhoid treatment

The device, which will be sold under the brand name Hemor-Rite Cryotherapy, is designed to decrease the painful symptoms produced by hemorrhoids.
The device is made by privately held FAMA Holdings International Corp., Miramar, Florida, and will be comarketed with Colon-Rite, a digestive support and natural colon cleanser.
Hemor-Rite uses cryotherapy technology.
