Bone mineral density in young women is not linked with locomotion-related joint loading.

In a recent article published in the journal Bone, scientists sought to characterize "the extent to which body mass influences the relationship between hip joint moments during locomotion and bone mineral density (BMD) of the proximal femur in healthy young women (n= 24)."
