Study 1: The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center nomogram could be used to predict the risk of nonsentinel lymph node metastases in Dutch breast cancer patients. According to a study from the Netherlands, "According to Dutch guidelines, an axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) is recommended whenever a sentinel lymph node (SLN) contains metastatic disease.
