Antitumor activity of NGR-TNF in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs studied

The antitumor activity of NGR-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in combination with various chemotherapeutic drugs was studied. According to recent research published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research, "Subnanogram doses of NGR-TNF, a TNF-alpha derivative able to target tumor neovessels, can enhance the antitumor activity of doxorubicin and melphalan in murine models.
