In gynecologic laparoscopy, ProSeal and SLIPA SLAs reduce surgery time

Gynecologic laparoscopy operative time can be reduced by using the ProSeal LMA (Laryngeal Mask Company) or SLIPA (SLIPAmed SA Pty Ltd.) airways. Anesthesiologists in England conducted a study "to compare the efficacy of the ProSeal LMA and SLIPA supralaryngeal airways (SLA) with the standard tracheal tube (TT) in 150 consecutive day-case laparoscopic gynecological surgery procedures requiring general anesthesia."
