Elderly patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) should be included in prospective trials. "Treatment of elderly patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) is not clearly defined and seems to vary according to the subjective appreciation of the physician. After interviewing 107 French specialists qualified in oncology, data concerning 1009 MBC patients were collected: 500 patients were between 65 and 74 years and 509 were >75 years of age," scientists in France reported.
