New findings from Switzerland, Italy and the United Kingdom; michael@mbaum describe advances in breast cancer therapy. Study 1: A recent review focused on subpopulations and toxicity in trials of aromatase inhibitors for postmenopausal women. "Hormonal manipulations have been used for more than 100 years for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer and, after definition of the concept of micro-metastases, also in the adjuvant setting.
