Study 1: Sentinel lymph node detection appeared to be enhanced by scintigraphy performed 1 hour after same-day injection.
Researchers in France conducted a study "to compare, intra-individually, the detection rates of sentinel node on lymphoscintigraphy performed on the day of injection (DO) and on the following day (D1) in breast carcinoma." The investigators also compared "2-day and 1-day protocols in the two groups of patients."
