Second primary pancreatic cancer risk factors identified

Risk factors for second primary pancreatic cancer were identified.

"Studies of pancreatic cancer in the setting of second primary malignant neoplasms can provide etiologic clues. An international multicenter study was carried out using data from 13 cancer registries with a registration period up to year 2000," researchers in the United States reported.
