Study 1: The Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills model may help guide HIV risk reduction interventions in South Africa.

"We tested the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) model of AIDS preventive behavior in South Africa. Prospective path analyses were performed on measures collected from 131 men and 60 women with sexually transmitted infections (STI) in Cape Town," scientists in the United States report.
