Findings from Canada and the United States describe new data in urology research

Urology research advances have been reported from Canada and the United States.

Study 1: Treatment choices for uncomplicated urinary tract infection in women were reviewed in recent issue of Canadian Family Physician.

The authors' purpose was "to review treatment recommendations for empiric therapy of uncomplicated urinary tract infection (uUTI) in light of evolving antibiotic resistance and to consider use of guidelines to promote optimal practice."
