Estrogen receptor isoforms function in endometrial carcinoma cells

Recent research from the People's Republic of China published in the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer has reported on the function of estrogen receptor (ER) isoforms alpha and beta in endometrial carcinoma cells.

"The aim of this study was to explore how to modulate the expression of ER alpha and beta and to verify the role of ER alpha and beta in relationship to estrogen and tamoxifen (TAM)," wrote Y. Zhang and colleagues, Peking University First Hospital.
