Data detailed in "Laparoscopic versus open colposuspension--results of a prospective randomised controlled trial" have been presented. In this recent article published in the journal BJOG, scientists in Manchester, the United Kingdom conducted a study "To compare the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of open and laparoscopic colposuspension in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence. A randomised controlled trial."
