Researchers from St. Bartholomew's Hospital publish new studies and findings in the area of breast cancer therapy

Researchers detail in "Cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) mRNA expression and hormone receptor status in breast cancer," new data in breast cancer. According to a study from London, the United Kingdom, "The purpose of this study was to evaluate COX-2 mRNA expression with known clinical prognostic features of breast cancer, oestrogen/progesterone receptor status, tumor size and grade. Total RNA was extracted from 45 frozen breast tumor (invasive) and 22 normal breast tissue samples."
