Breast Cancer Risk Factors



Researchers from Center for Health Studies provide details of new studies and findings in the area of breast cancer risk factors



February 1st, 2007

A report, "Do breast cancer risk factors modify the association between hormone therapy and mammographic breast density' (United States)," is newly published data in Cancer Causes and Control. In this recently published article, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To evaluate whether the association between hormone therapy (HT) and breast density differs by levels of breast cancer risk factors. We evaluated 80,867 screening mammograms from 39,296 postmenopausal women from Washington State."
