New breast cancer data have been reported by scientists at South Dakota State University

New investigation results, "Polymethoxylated flavones induce Ca(2+)-mediated apoptosis in breast cancer cells," are detailed in a study published in Life Sciences. According to recent research published in the journal Life Sciences, "Flavonoids, polyphenolic phytochemicals which include flavones and isoflavones, are present in the common human diet. It has been suggested that these compounds may exert anticancer activity; however, the mechanisms involved remain unknown."
