Reports outline gene therapy research from University of North Carolina, Department of Sociology

Scientists discuss in "Dopamine transporter, gender, and number of sexual partners among young adults" new findings in gene. According to recent research published in the European Journal of Human Genetics, "The dopamine transporter gene (DAT1) codes for a dopamine transporter protein, which limits the level and duration of dopamine receptor activation. The DAT1 gene is a strong candidate gene for reward-seeking behavior."
