Research on human papillomavirus immunology reported by scientists at Malmo University, Department of Medical Microbiology

Current study results from the report, "Deletion of a major neutralizing epitope of human papillomavirus type 16 virus-like particles," have been published. According to recent research published in the Journal of General Virology, "Human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV-16) is a major cause of human cancer. Effective prophylactic vaccines are based on type-specific neutralizing antibodies."
