Cytomegalovirus Therapy

Research conducted at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia Campus has provided new information about cytomegalovirus therapy

A new study, "Recent advances in the prevention and treatment of congenital cytomegalovirus infections," is now available. According to a study from the United States, "Continued but slow progress has led to recent advances in our understanding that congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection has occurred. We understand that the most severe congenital disease occurs following a primary maternal infection during pregnancy."
