Scientists at Lund University target urinary tract infection in children

New research, "Inherited susceptibility to acute pyelonephritis: a family study of urinary tract infection," is the subject of a report. According to a study from Lund, Sweden, "Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are important causes of morbidity and death. The present study investigated whether genetic factors influence susceptibility to acute pyelonephritis (APN)."
