Researchers from Hoag Cancer Center discuss findings in ovarian cancer therapy

A new study, 'Malignant pericardial effusion secondary to ovarian adenocarcinoma: a case report,' is now available. "The treatment for ovarian cancer has continued to improve, resulting in disease recurrence associated with previously unusual locations. However, there are still very few documented cases involving treatment for ovarian cancer metastatic to the pericardium A 46-year-old woman was diagnosed with and treated for primary ovarian cancer in 1999," scientists writing in the Journal of Reproductive Medicine report.
