Study findings from M. Kammori et al broaden understanding of breast cancer

"An accurate investigation of the HER2 protooncogene is extremely important for the therapy and prognostication of breast cancer. Currently, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) are standard methods for this purpose," scientists in Tokyo, Japan report.
