Research conducted at National Defense Medical College, Medical College has provided new information about breast cancer

According to a study from Saitama, Japan, "Using integrated F-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography fusion imaging (F-18-FDG PET/CT), the clinical significance of F-18-FDG uptake was evaluated in patients with primary breast cancer. Clinicopathological correlation with the level of maximum standardized uptake values (SUV) 60 min obtained from preoperative F-18-FDG PET/CT were examined in 152 patients with primary breast cancer."
