Research from Asan Medical Center, Department of Radiology reveals new findings on life sciences

New research, 'Feasibility of diffusion-weighted imaging in the differentiation of metastatic from nonmetastatic lymph nodes: early experience,' is the subject of a report. In this recent report published in the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, researchers in Seoul, South Korea conducted a study "To investigate the feasibility of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in the differentiation of metastatic from nonmetastatic lymph nodes. In 125 patients who underwent lymph node dissection for uterine cervical cancer, DWI was performed at b value of 0 and 1000 s/mm2."
