Researchers from Mayo Clinic, Department of Nuclear Medicine publish findings in breast cancer

Current study results from the report, 'Scientific Impact Recognition Award: Molecular breast imaging: a review of the Mayo Clinic experience,' have been published. According to a study from the United States, "Molecular breast imaging (MBI) depicts functional uptake of targeted radiotracers in the breast using dedicated gamma cameras. MBI studies were performed under several institutional protocols evaluating the use of MBI in screening and diagnosis."
