New breast cancer study results reported from Pusan National University

According to recent research from South Korea, "The purpose of this study was to investigate the acceptability and therapeutic efficacy of a preoperative single administration of long-acting 5-hydroxytryptamine type 3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist in an orally disintegrating tablet formulation, ramosetron, in breast cancer patients. Two hundred and forty women, ASA I-II, aged 24-60 yr, undergoing elective breast cancer surgery, were randomized."
