New breast cancer data have been reported by scientists at University of North Carolina

"To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ixabepilone as a new antimitotic chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of breast cancer. Data were identified by searches of MEDLINE, PubMed, and American Society of Clinical Oncology abstracts from 1966 to March 2008, using the primary search terms ixabepilone, epothilones, BMS-247550, and breast cancer," scientists in the United States report.
