According to recent research published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology, "To prospectively compare digital cervical score with Bishop score as a predictor of spontaneous preterm delivery before 35 weeks of gestation. Data from a cohort of 2,916 singleton pregnancies enrolled in a multicenter preterm prediction study were available."
