Tampax and Always Expand Protecting Futures Program to Reach One Million Girls in Sub-Saharan Africa

P&G Femcare brands Tampax and Always announced the expansion of the Protecting Futures program with new partners Save the Children(R) and CARE(R) at the 2008 Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting in New York City on September 24, 2008. Protecting Futures is dedicated to helping vulnerable girls stay in school and realize their full potential through continued education. This program also works to raise awareness and build advocacy for a little known issue: That lack of access to sanitary protection and sanitary facilities can have a significant impact on girls' educations. Over the next 4 years, Protecting Futures will aim to reach 1 million vulnerable girls through puberty...
