Findings from University of Louvain in prostate cancer reported

"Toremifene citrate is an oral selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that is used to block the actions of estrogens. In women, torernifene is used in the treatment of advanced (metastatic) breast cancer, osteoporosis, and dyslipidaernia of postmenopausal women," scientists in Brussels, Belgium report. "The possibility that toremifene could prevent side effects of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in men with advanced prostate cancer (PCa) is currently being tested in a large cohort of men (n = 1389).
