In this recently published article, scientists in Greece conducted a study "To determine the tolerability and efficacy of the combination of gefitinib with gemcitabine plus vinorelbine in metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients, pre-treated with anthracyclines and taxanes. Women with measurable MBC pretreated with anthracycline- and taxane-based chemotherapy received oral gefitinib (250 mg/day) continuously combined with intravenous gemcitabine 1000 mg/m(2) and vinorelbine 25 mg/m(2) on day 1, every 2 weeks."
