Research conducted at University of Florence has updated our knowledge about breast cancer

In this recent article published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, scientists in Florence, Italy conducted a study "To analyze the relationship between a delay in radiotherapy (RT) after breast-conserving surgery and ipsilateral breast recurrence (BR). We included in our analysis 4,820 breast cancer patients who had undergone postoperative RT at the University of Florence."
