Research conducted at University of Rostock has updated our knowledge about breast cancer

In this recent article published in the journal Annals of Surgery, scientists in Rostock, Germany conducted a study "To find out if skin sparing mastectomy (SSM) and nipple sparing mastectomy (NSM) with immediate autologous reconstruction as safe in oncological terms as modified radical mastectomy (MRM).
