According to recent research from Xian, People's Republic of China, "Breast carcinoma (BC) is a prevalent malignant tumour occurring in women. Many studies have indicated the role of human papilloma virus type 16 (HPV16) in the pathogenesis of BC; however, the correlations of HPV16 infection with the clinicopathologic features of BC and the expressions of c-erbB-2 and bcl-2 have not yet been elucidated."
