According to recent research from the United Kingdom, "Metastasis to the cervix and parametrium from breast carcinoma is a rare occurrence. Case report: A 74-year-old woman presented to the urologists with loin pain and microscopic haematuria." "Investigations revealed a right ureteric obstruction which was diagnosed to be secondary to parametrial metastasis from an unknown primary. Immunohistochemical Studies revealed it to be originating from the breast. Occult breast carcinoma was then diagnosed by breast biopsy," wrote R.R. Nair and colleagues.
