Study data from West Virginia University, Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center provide new insights into breast cancer

Research findings, 'Role of positron-emission tomography scan in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer,' are discussed in a new report. According to a study from the United States, "Positron-emission tomography (PET) scan is a widely used imaging modality in the management of various malignancies. There is considerable controversy regarding its use in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment."
