Data on breast cancer screening reported by researchers at University of Haifa

In this recent article published in the journal Oncology Nursing Forum, scientists in Haifa, Israel conducted a study "To assess levels of fatalistic beliefs and their association with mammography use in four population groups in Israel. Telephone survey. Maccabi Healthcare Services in Israel."

"Sample: A random sample of 1,550 Arabic and Jewish women. A random telephone survey was performed during May and June 2007. Women's fatalistic beliefs were measured.
