Studies from University of North Carolina provide new data on osteoporosis

According to recent research from the United States, "Trends in the use of different treatments for osteoporosis among the civilian, ambulatory U.S. are described. Data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) were used to estimate osteoporosis prevalence and treatment rates among individuals ages 50 years and older who self-reported having osteoporosis."
