"Genital tuberculosis is often neglected by health-care providers, but is an important cause of significant morbidity for the affected women. We report a rare case of tuberculosis (TB) flare in a 28-year-old nulliparous woman following endometrial aspiration (EA), which drained 30 ml pus," scientists in New Delhi, India report.

"Following this, she developed high-grade fever with pain abdomen, guarding and rigidity. PCR was positive for mycobacterium and histopathology showed necrotizing granulomatous endometritis.
