Studies from Geneva University provide new data on cervical cancer quality of care

Fresh data on cervical cancer are presented in the report 'Early-stage cervical cancer: is surgery better than radiotherapy.' According to recent research published in the journal Expert Review of Anticancer Therapy, "Patients with early-stage cervical cancer may be treated appropriately with either radical surgery or radiation therapy. As most patients will be cured of their disease, side-effects of therapy and quality of life become of great importance."
