Data from Nanjing Medical University advance knowledge in menopause

A report, 'Hypothesis: multiple factors are associated with the lack of any beneficial effects of oestrogen-replacement therapy in the late postmenopausal stage,' is newly published data in Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology. "1. Epidemiological and clinical studies suggest that women may obtain cognitive benefits from oestrogen-replacement therapy (ERT) during menopause transition rather than in the post-menopausal stages," scientists writing in the journal Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology report.
