A report, 'Hepatic osteodystrophy and liver cirrhosis,' is newly published data in World Journal of Gastroenterology. In this recent article published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology, scientists in Diyarbakir, Turkey conducted a study "To investigate the correlation between hepatic osteodystrophy and osteoporosis in patients with liver cirrhosis. Bone mineral density of the patients (n=55) and that of the control group (n=30) were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry."
