Researchers from Korea University provide details of new studies and findings in the area of breast cancer

Investigators publish new data in the report 'Knockdown of apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1 modulates basal glycogen synthase kinase-3ß kinase activity and regulates cell migration.' "GSK-3ß is a basally active kinase. Axin forms a complex with GSK-3ß and ß-catenin; this complex promotes the GSK-3ß-dependent phosphorylation of ß-catenin, thereby inducing its degradation," scientists in Seoul, Korea report.
