Data from Wuhan University advance knowledge in cervical cancer

2010 DEC 2 -- New research, 'Effect of ex vivo-expanded 'd-T cells combined with galectin-1 antibody on the growth of human cervical cancer xenografts in SCID mice,' is the subject of a report. "To investigate the antitumor activity of ex vivo-expanded 'd-T cells derived from tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes('dTILs) from cervical cancer patients when combined with galectin-1 antibody and studied both in vitro and in vivo. The presence of 'dTILs in cervical cancer specimens was detected by immunohistochemistry and 'dTILs were expanded using the solid-phase antibody method," scientists writing in the journal Clinical and Investigative Medicine Medecine Clinique Et...
