Research from University of Thessaloniki Provide New Insights into Diabetes

2011 FEB 10 -- New investigation results, 'Maternal physical activity before and during early pregnancy as a risk factor for gestational diabetes mellitus,' are detailed in a study published in Acta Diabetologica. According to recent research from Thessaloniki, Greece, "The aim of this study was to assess whether the levels of physical activity before and during early pregnancy are associated with the prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). The study group included 160 puerperas."
